"Automatic assault rifle with high zoom"

~ In-game description

G36[]

The G36 is a scoped assault rifle added alongside the Gravity Gun on May 22, 2014 in the 2.1.7 update (also known as the "Nuke Mode" update).

The G36 is a combination between the high fire rate of the Blast Gun and the high damage of the Carbine. The G36 fires rather fast and has good damage per bullet. Best of all, the G36 is equipped with a scope with reasonable zoom, enabling you to get accurate shots from quite a distance. However, the recoil is a bit high, so it takes practice to handle it. Overall, it is an excellent weapon that is good at all ranges if you practice hard enough.

In short, the high effective range of this gun makes it popular among higher-skilled players, being almost as common as the Blast Guns and Carbines.

Appearance[]

Holding a G36. Note that the intense bullet spread was caused by holding down by hipfiring from a distance.

It is a regular Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifle with a regular long handguard and large carry handle. At the back of the carry handle, there is a large scope that has a high zoom, which is unique to the G36 series. There is also a regular-sized magazine and a normal-sized handgrip.

To charge the weapon, the gun's bolt is racked on the gun's right hand side.

Tips and Tactics (by EliteTrooper)[]

  1. Keep your mouse down when scoping in to the point where you feel that the recoil is balanced.
  2. Don't use ads in close combat ranges, instead, make sure you shoot ONLY when your sight is definitely on the person. This means that you generally fire in bursts than going full-auto. The reason for this is because of the insane fire rate.
  3. Don't treat the G36 like an automatic sniper rifle. It is not going to benefit much if you use it like that. The G36 can only be effectively used in medium ranges for standard shooters. However, with enough practice with it, you can potentially be lethal up to long ranges.
  4. Use the G36 in medium-sized open maps such as Base, Skygates, and so on. The G36 is also good for maps that combine close to mid range combat such as SecretLab and Bunker.

More Tips and Tactics (by DeezyDaff- Fire Rate and Recoil: The Balanced System)[]

  1. The G36’s and the Blast Gun’s stats are nearly similar, except that the G36’s fire rate is one point lower than the Blast Gun’s. The G36 does slightly more damage than the Blast Gun, though with bullet spread on both guns being identical. When it comes to recoil, however, there is a big difference, regardless of the fact that they are both identical stat-wise.
  2. From close range, use hipfire or using sights (not highly recommended for the G36), the recoil does not affect either gun in any way, as the target will be overwhelmed by the hail of bullets.
  3. If you are in mid-range, the recoil from both guns still won't affect either gun's accuracy in any way. However, from mid to long range, the G36 should have better performance because of its higher ads zoom, with moderate upward recoil.

Trivia[]

  • In real life, the G36's bolt is on the left, but in Warmerise the character charges the weapon on the right, as if there is a bolt there.
  • The charging animation is similar to the L115A3.
